Tarte Aqualillies Palette

I'm going to be traveling a little bit this summer and wanted to have an all-in-one palette (shadows, blush, bronzer, and highlighter).  This spring/summer-time palette is awesome! Lots of neutrals, which I love, and everything is waterproof.  This palette is formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate, synthetic fragrances.

The Tarte Aqualillies palette is sold out online at the sites that used to carry it (ULTA, Sephora, Tarte). It's a limited edition item. But if you check your local ULTA or Sephora, they may have one or two left.  I have been wanting this palette and it was only by chance that I scooped one up; I was in the store at the right time (someone had placed it on hold weeks ago but had not picked it up or paid for it, so the crew member at Sephora put the palette back on the shelf only a few hours before I purchased it)!

The cost of the palette is $38.

Highligher (top left) -champagne

Bottom to top: hammock, bikini, barefoot, parasol, sundeck, poolside

Left to right: hammock, bikini, barefoot

Left to right: parasol, sundeck, poolside

What I am wearing-
Hourglass Veil Primer
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Nude
Tarte Maracuja Creaseless concealer in light (for under eye area)
Tarte Aqualillies Blush in captivating
Tarte Aqualillies Bronzer in park ave princess
Tarte Aqualillies Eyeshadow in barefoot
Tarte Aqualillies Eyeshadow in sundeck
LORAC multiplex 3D Lashes (I don't like this mascara & I am trying to use it up!)
Maybelline Lash Discovery Waterproof mascara - for bottom lashes
ELF Studio Eyebrow Kit in medium
YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in Caress Pink

The Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer is a sample. This is the first time I've worn it and I think it's a little dark on me. I think the undertone is spot on but the color is a 1/2 shade too dark.

I closed my eyes on this last picture so that you could see the eyeshadows (barefoot & sundeck). They are nice neutrals. The barefoot has some shimmer, the sundeck is a matte shade. You can also see the blush really well from this angle too.

Overall I think this palette is really nice. Some great colors and the formulation is good (long lasting and  most items are very pigmented). I also think the shadows are nice and soft. When I put the eyeshadow on, I did have a small amount of fall out, but lightly tapping the brush or blowing the excess powder off will remedy that issue. Also, I wish that the poolside color (light blue) was a little more pigmented. I like my blues bright! Other than those two very small issues, I would definitely recommend this palette.
