The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder 01 Light Matte

I purchased The Body Shop's Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder in 01 Light Matte based on a recommendation from Essie Button. She raves about this bronzer all the time, so I figured I would try it out and write a quick review on it.

Packaging: I love the packaging. It's sturdy and has a click shut closure (to prevent the product from randomly opening).  I love the honeycomb pattern on the top that appears in certain lights. Very cute!

Product: The honeycomb pattern on this bronzing powder is adorable. There isn't a scent to the product and the powder is soft and picks up easily on a brush.  It does have a pink undertone to it though. I've worn it once and I felt as though it made my forehead look sunburned! I have warm/yellow undertones (Mac NC20) and I think this bronzer would be more flattering on someone with red/pink undertones.

Final Thoughts: I think the quality of the powder and the packaging is nice. The Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder is a great price as well (retails for $20. I paid around $14 with a coupon). Sadly, the shade isn't right for me, but would be very pretty on another skin tone.

  1. Oh no, that's too bad it isn't the right color for you. I was debating whether to get it to, I guess I will have to swatch it in store first. x

  2. Thanks for reviewing this product. I have a very hard time finding a bronzer that might work with my light, cool complexion. This one might be the one! :)
