Treasure Hunting

It is that time of year in the Tree Streets neighborhood!  The Tree Streets Garage Sale was this weekend.  It is a big event in the town I am living in; people come from surrounding towns to score deals, walk the neighborhood, eat food from vendors, buy produce and local crafts.  I L-O-V-E this event. I seriously walked/bargained for about 5 hours on Friday and 4 hours today (Saturday). This isn't some piddly yard sale.  I would say 1 out of 4 homes has a sale and the streets are jam packed with cars, people and police officers on bikes! I wanted to share my treasures because I am so happy with what I found. I took a picture of one yard sale & blurred out people's faces. I think I talked every person down from their asking price, I wanted to work on my bargaining skills this year and boy did it pay off!

The Secret Lives of Bees

  3. I will let you know how Yummy Mummy is. I probably wont read it for a while. My list of books to read is about 20 books long and that title isn't on there.
